Lost gym clothes at Jackson Wellness Center

Today, around 7:45 AM, I realized my gym clothes were missing after an early workout at the Jackson Wellness Center on West Capitol Street. I remember leaving my bag in the locker area during a quick shower and change, and when I came back, the clothes were gone. I retraced my steps through the locker rooms and hallways, asking a staff member, but nothing turned up. These clothes meant a lot to me for today’s training, so I’m posting here in hope they surface. They’re a grey hoodie, black shorts, and a white T-shirt with my initials.

Found brooches near Capitol Street, Jackson

I was walking along Capitol Street in Jackson around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday when I spotted a small tin by the entrance of a cafe. Inside were several brooches—gold-tone with a pearl center and a couple of floral designs—tumbled together in a velvet pouch. I picked them up and brought them to the lost-and-found listing so they can be reunited with their owner in Jackson, Mississippi. If you’re missing a set of brooches, describe them here and we’ll see if we can match you.

Found violins in Jackson, MS

Tamara Brooks here. I found two violins in a soft black case behind the Jackson Convention Center parking lot this afternoon around 2:10 PM. One violin has a warm brown sunburst finish, the other is lighter with a few scuffs near the f-holes. The case is worn, with a dusty rosin packet tucked inside. I didn’t see anyone nearby, so I turned the instruments in and posted here in case the owner reads this. It felt good to help keep music from getting lost.

Found handheld and console in Jackson, MS

On Fortification Street by the Old Capitol Green around 8:20 PM last Tuesday, I spotted a backpack lying on the sidewalk. Inside were a handheld game console and a larger home console, plus a charging cable and a handful of game cartridges. The owner clearly valued their gear, and the backpack had a few stickers reminding me of a weekend trip to the museum. I picked it up and posted here, hoping the rightful owner sees this and recognizes their items.

Lost hoops in downtown Jackson

At around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, I realized my favorite silver hoops were missing after I helped a friend load groceries near Capitol Street. I had been standing on the Mississippi State Capitol steps and then wandered into the Fondren District for a quick chat with a vendor. The hoops are simple two-inch silver hoops, one with a tiny heart engraving. I left them somewhere along Capitol Street, but I can't remember the exact spot in the swirl of people and neon signs. They carry a lot of memories from last Christmas in Jackson, and I just want them back where they belong.

Found puppies near Jackson, Mississippi

I was walking along Capitol Street this afternoon when I found these puppies wandering together, probably five or six weeks old. It was around 3:00 p.m. near the Mississippi State Capitol lawn—both a little muddy and very friendly, wagging tails, no collar in sight. They’re small, short-haired, one black and white, the other tan. They seemed nervous but curious, and I kept them in a safe spot while I looked for their family nearby, hoping they weren’t stray for long. If these pups belong to someone, I’d love to see them go back home soon.

Lost appliances near Capitol Street, Jackson

Hi, I'm Maggie Thompson. I lost a bag of small kitchen appliances around 7:15 p.m. yesterday in the apartment complex on Capitol Street, Jackson. Inside was a stainless toaster oven, a blender, and a coffee maker with a red lid. I had just finished cleaning the kitchen and stepped out to take a quick phone call, and when I came back the bag was gone. The hallway was quiet, and a neighbor mentioned seeing a bag by the lobby near the stairs leading to State Street. Those appliances are essential to my daily routine, and I’m devastated by their loss. If anyone found them, please keep them safe until I can reclaim them.

LOST travel visas near the Mississippi Capitol

I am Lillian Moore, a nurse in Jackson. I was leaving the Old Capitol Museum around 7:42 PM on Saturday, and I headed toward the sidewalk near the Mississippi State Capitol steps. My travel visas were tucked in a tan leather folder with a red cover, the kind with a small label that says Visas. The folder is a bit worn, and I am anxious because I have a flight in two days. If someone found them, I would be endlessly grateful; those papers mean more than money to me. I am hopeful they will turn up near the capitol steps or at the Old Capitol entrance.

Lost holiday decorations in Jackson

Hi there, I’m Grace Coleman, and I misplaced the holiday decorations I planned to bring out for a small gathering in Jackson. I last had them around 7:45 p.m. yesterday, when I wandered through the Fondren District near LeFleur's Bluff State Park. The box held red-and-green lights, a long garland, and a little felt star ornament that goes on the door. I’m feeling a bit frustrated because I was hoping to surprise my family with a festive welcome this weekend.

Red hardcover poetry book with gold embossing

I’m really hoping someone picked up my red hardcover poetry book with gold embossing. I lost it yesterday around 3pm near the Jackson Public Library on Main Street, just outside the Bean & Barrel coffee shop. It’s about 200 pages with a fox-shaped bookmark tucked between pages and the gold embossing on the spine is starting to wear. It was a gift from my grandmother and has serious sentimental value—I’d be so grateful to get it back.

Cordless drill with yellow Makita, two batteries

I am hoping to recover my cordless drill I lost yesterday around 4pm near the Jackson Public Library on Main Street. It is a yellow Makita 18V cordless drill, a Tools & Hardware staple for my home projects, with a black grippy handle that has a small dent and a red sticker with the initials MP on the battery. It came with two batteries, and one of them has a cracked casing. The drill lives in a slightly scuffed hard case with a blue duct-tape repair along the zipper. It has sentimental value because it was a gift from my grandfather, and I really need it back to finish a home project. If anyone stumbled upon it, please message me, thank you so much.

Keys on red heart fob with two brass keys

I lost my keys yesterday around 3pm near the Jackson Public Library on West Capitol Street, in the parking lot behind the building. It's a small set on a black leather keychain with a red heart-shaped fob; there are two brass keys—one stamped Kwikset and the other Schlage—plus a silver car key. One of the keys has a tiny dent near the teeth, and the red heart fob is a bit faded but still legible. These keys open my apartment and a family heirloom lock, so they have sentimental value and I really need them back. If you've seen them, email me at [email protected] and we can arrange a quick pickup near the library.

DeWalt cordless drill in yellow case missing

I lost my DeWalt 20V cordless drill in a yellow hard case yesterday around 3pm. It was last seen near King's Hardware on Main Street, Jackson, in the loading area behind the market by the 2nd Ave entrance. The drill is compact with a black rubber grip and the case is bright yellow with a black trim; there’s a purple sticker with the initials 'JL' on the corner, and there’s a small dent on the bottom edge from a truck bed slide. It’s my go-to tool for home repairs, and I’m really hoping someone picked it up so I can finish a few urgent projects this week—if you’ve found it, I’d be grateful to get it back.

Jackson High ID card with blue border

Hey, I lost my Jackson High School ID card yesterday around 3:15pm. It's a white plastic badge with a small photo in the top-left corner, the name 'Priya Patel' printed across the bottom, and a blue border with the school crest. The lanyard is black with a tiny silver clip, and there's a faint coffee ring on the back along with a small scratch on the left edge. I really need it back because it's my access badge for the building and the bus pass; it’s part of my daily routine. If anyone found it, please email me at [email protected] — I’ll swing by to pick it up near the Jackson Library on Main Street.

Gold bracelet with heart charm and initials A.R.

I lost my gold bracelet yesterday around 3pm near the Jackson City Library on Main Street. It's a thin 14k bracelet, about 6.5 inches long, with a tiny heart charm and an engraved initials 'A.R.' on a small silver disk. The bracelet is a little worn around the clasp but still shines nicely. It was a gift from my late aunt and holds a lot of sentimental value; I was really hoping to find it. If anyone found it, please reach out—I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
