FOUND: Sheet music in downtown Jackson.
While leaving a coffee shop near the Michigan Theatre in downtown Jackson around 4:15 p.m. last Friday, I found a stack of sheet music on a bench. The pages are slightly creased, some pencil notes mark tempo, and the top page bears the name Ella Whitman in neat cursive. It looked like someone put a lot of effort into this music, and I felt a mix of curiosity and relief thinking someone might be missing it. Iām posting it here because I know how comforting it is to reconnect with cherished pieces, and I hope the owner sees this soon.

I found a violin this morning around 9:15am behind the bench by the Jackson Library on Main Street. It's a full-size student violin with a sunburst finish, a few light scratches, and a blue velvet bow wrap. Inside the black case is a tag that reads 'Suzuki VI-3'; I hope it helps the owner recognize it. It feels meaningful to the person who plays it, and I'd love to get it back to them. I found a violin in a black hard-shell case this afternoon around 2:30pm behind the Riverside Market on Main Street in Jackson. It's a full-size violin with a warm sunburst finish, ebony fittings, and a few light scratches along the lower bout. The bow is included and the horsehair is still taut, with a red rosin bag tucked in. Inside the case there's a small sticker with the name 'Maya' written in cursive and a tiny dent near the lower bout from a small drop. The maroon lining is in decent shape, and the outside case has a few scuffs along the edge. This instrument probably means a lot to someone, and Iād love to help get it back to its owner. I lost my acoustic guitar while heading to a friend's house last Saturday around Jackson Park. It's a dark brown Fender with a few stickers on the body that have sentimental value.
