Gold-tone ring with blue gemstone

I found a ring today around 3:15 pm in the parking lot behind the Imperial Valley Mall on Imperial Avenue. It's a gold-tone band with a small blue sapphire set in a simple bezel, and there are tiny marcasite accents along the shoulders. The inside of the band is engraved with 'M.J.' and there’s a faint little heart near the setting. The ring looks slightly worn but is in decent shape, and it seems like it could be sentimental to someone. If you think it's yours, I’d love to reunite it with you.
