It’s amazing how easily a day at such a busy place can scatter personal memories, and I stayed nearby for a bit in case someone returned. Found equipment for various sports near Space & Rocket Center.

I was leaving the Space & Rocket Center grounds in Huntsville around 2:15 p.m. last Friday when I found a blue duffel bag stuffed with equipment for various sports. There were several balls, a set of cones, some protective pads, and a whistle tucked into a pocket. It looked like a team bag left behind after practice—the kind of thing a coach or family would rely on. I carried it to the building’s lost-and-found so the owner could reclaim it. I know how important this gear can be for a kid's game or a weekend pick-up, and I hope the rightful owner sees this soon.

Found stamps near Big Spring Park, Huntsville

I'm Sophie Carter. I found a small bag of stamps today around 3:30 PM near the fountain in Big Spring Park, Huntsville. The bag contains stamps that look vintage, some used and a few mint, tucked in an old album. I know how important a collection like this can be, and I hope the owner sees this post and claims them. Solid oak coffee table with lower shelf

I found a solid oak coffee table this afternoon around 2:30pm, sitting near the curb behind the Target on University Drive in Huntsville. It's a rectangular table, about 48 inches long and 20 inches wide, with a natural oak finish and a sturdy open lower shelf. There are a couple distinguishing marks: a small dent on the front-left leg and a faint pencil engraving 'ML' on the underside near the shelf. The top has a light coffee stain that doesn’t affect stability, and there’s a tiny chip on the back edge. I’d really love to help reunite it with its owner.

Blue toolbox found near Home Depot, Huntsville

Found this blue metal toolbox this afternoon around 2:15 pm in the parking lot behind the Home Depot on University Drive in Huntsville. It's about 14 inches long, with a bright yellow plastic handle and a slightly bent lid, plus a small magnetic tray inside. The box is still fairly clean, but the label on the inside reads REDLINE and there’s a wrinkled receipt from a hardware store stuffed in the bottom. I figured someone might be missing it after a quick DIY run, and I hate to see someone waste time looking for it. If you’re missing a toolbox, I hope this helps.

Found gray dwarf hamster near Target

I found a tiny gray dwarf hamster yesterday around 3:15pm outside the Target on University Drive in Huntsville, near the main entrance. It's living in a light-blue plastic cage with a pink water bottle and a small wheel. The fur is gray with a white belly, palm-sized, and there’s a tiny notch on its left ear plus a small white patch on its chest—the kind of detail that makes it unique. It seems healthy and a bit shy, and I’ve kept it safe in the cage for now. I know it’s someone’s pet and would love to see it back with its owner who can verify those features. If this is your hamster, we can figure out a good pickup.
