Found Memory Cards near Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville
I found memory cards on a bench inside the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville / Decatur, Alabama, United States around 2:30 PM on Tuesday. They were in a small blue case, with a few photos peeking out and a sticker with a kid’s name. I looked around for a wallet or phone, but nothing else turned up. It’s amazing how easily a day at such a busy place can scatter personal memories, and I stayed nearby for a bit in case someone returned. If the owner reads this, I hope you see that someone cared enough to hold onto them and post this here.
Found equipment for various sports near Space & Rocket Center.
I was leaving the Space & Rocket Center grounds in Huntsville around 2:15 p.m. last Friday when I found a blue duffel bag stuffed with equipment for various sports. There were several balls, a set of cones, some protective pads, and a whistle tucked into a pocket. It looked like a team bag left behind after practice—the kind of thing a coach or family would rely on. I carried it to the building’s lost-and-found so the owner could reclaim it. I know how important this gear can be for a kid's game or a weekend pick-up, and I hope the rightful owner sees this soon.
Lost parrots near Big Spring Park, Huntsville
I was on my balcony near Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville around 6:45 p.m. last Friday when my two parrots, Pico and Kiwi, slipped out of their cage and vanished into the trees. They’re small, mostly green with bright blue tails, and one has a splash of yellow on its head. I wandered the park’s paved paths, calling their names and peering under benches and around the fountain by the gazebo, but the light faded and I came up empty. I miss their chatter and worry about them every minute—if you saw them anywhere in Huntsville, please help bring them home through the site.
Found stamps near Big Spring Park, Huntsville
I'm Sophie Carter. I found a small bag of stamps today around 3:30 PM near the fountain in Big Spring Park, Huntsville. The bag contains stamps that look vintage, some used and a few mint, tucked in an old album. I know how important a collection like this can be, and I hope the owner sees this post and claims them. They were lying under a bench by the fountain, so if these sounded familiar, it's worth checking the post.
LOST: Utensils near Big Spring Park, downtown Huntsville
Hi, I’m Emily Carter. I lost a small utensils set on Friday around 7:15 p.m., after a quick outdoor cookout in Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. I had been packing up near the fountain by the amphitheater when a gust knocked my bag loose and it slid into the grass. The set includes a wooden-handled spatula, two forks, and a blue-handled paring knife—the kind I use for weekend projects and camping. I’m kicking myself for not tying the bag better. If you saw a lone utensil set near the benches by the fountain, I’d be grateful to hear about it. I really miss cooking with those tools.
Lost: Sheet Music in Huntsville/Decatur
On Friday around 6:15 p.m., after rehearsal at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, my sheet music—blue cover with my initials G.R.—had slipped from my bag and disappeared from a chair in the lobby. I’ve retraced the route through downtown Huntsville and checked nearby Decatur’s Historic Square, but the music hasn’t turned up. It means a lot to me—these pieces are for tonight’s recital and carry a lot of memory. If you’ve found it, the site can link you back to me so we can arrange a pickup near the Von Braun Center.
Lost organizers in Huntsville/Decatur, AL
On Sunday around 2:30 p.m., I realized my desk organizers were missing from the kitchen counter of my Clinton Avenue apartment in Huntsville, near Big Spring Park. I had set them on the counter before heading to a quick meeting at the Von Braun Center, and when I returned they were gone. They’re a small three-piece bamboo tray, a blue plastic organizer, and a pencil cup with my initials scratched on it. It’s frustrating to lose something that keeps my day running smoothly, especially before a big project. If you saw them around the Bridge Street area or near the Von Braun Center, please bring them back to where they belong.
Lost microwaves from Huntsville area.
On Sunday at 6:45 a.m., I discovered two microwaves missing from the kitchen of my apartment near Bailey Cove Road in Huntsville, part of the Huntsville/Decatur area. They are two compact stainless-steel microwaves, identical models, with one dent on the corner. I’d been loading boxes onto a cart for a move, and they were stacked by the kitchen counter. I’ve searched the apartment, building laundry room, and the lobby near the Space & Rocket Center, but they’ve not turned up. These machines were essential for quick meals during the move, and I’m hoping they’ll be returned soon.
Leopard gecko with orange tail and blue eyes
I lost my leopard gecko yesterday around 3:15pm. It’s about 6 inches long, yellow-tan with a bright orange tail, and it has striking blue eyes. There are two small blue spots near its right hip and a tiny nick on the tip of its left front claw. I last saw it in the living room at home, near the front door, and I’m pretty sure it slipped out into the hallway. I’ve checked the area around the Walmart on Sparkman Drive in Huntsville, especially the Whitesburg Drive intersection, but haven’t found it. This gecko was a rescue and means a lot to me—really hoping it turns up soon. If you see it, please message me so I can come pick it up.
Space gray iPad Pro 11-inch with blue case
I lost my space gray iPad Pro 11-inch with a blue Smart Keyboard Folio yesterday around 3pm. It was last seen in the parking lot behind the Target on University Drive in Huntsville, maybe near the coffee shop outside. The iPad is in a gray Apple silicone case with a small dent on the lower left corner and a rocket sticker on the back; the screen has a faint crack along the corner. It holds travel photos and class notes, so it means a lot to me and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please reach out—I can identify it by the dent and the sticker and will gladly reward the finder.
Korg Volca Keys portable synth
I lost my black Korg Volca Keys compact synth, a tiny 25-key portable instrument. It's matte black with a few cosmetic scratches along the right edge and a tiny dent near the USB port. On the back are two blue star stickers and a worn 'Volca Keys' label on the bottom—easy identifying features. I last used it yesterday around 3pm outside the Starbucks on Jefferson Street by Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. This synth is part of my home setup and was a gift from a close friend, so I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Gold diamond ring, 14k, sentimental, lost near Bridge Street
I lost my gold diamond ring yesterday around 3pm near Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville. It's a thin 14k yellow gold band with a tiny round diamond, and the inside has faint initials AR plus a crescent moon mark. It was a gift from my grandmother, so it means a lot to me and I’ve been anxious since it disappeared. If anyone found it, email me at [email protected]—I’d be so grateful to hear from you.
Blue contact lens case with ML initials
I lost my blue translucent contact lens case yesterday around 3pm near the Target on University Drive in Huntsville. It's a small plastic case, roughly the size of a credit card, with a dent on the rim and the initials ML etched inside the lid. I rely on it every day for my contacts and it's part of my morning routine, so I'm really hoping it turns up. If you found it, please reach out here; I can meet quickly at the Target lot or arrange a pickup.
Solid oak coffee table with lower shelf
I found a solid oak coffee table this afternoon around 2:30pm, sitting near the curb behind the Target on University Drive in Huntsville. It's a rectangular table, about 48 inches long and 20 inches wide, with a natural oak finish and a sturdy open lower shelf. There are a couple distinguishing marks: a small dent on the front-left leg and a faint pencil engraving 'ML' on the underside near the shelf. The top has a light coffee stain that doesn’t affect stability, and there’s a tiny chip on the back edge. I’d really love to help reunite it with its owner.
Blue toolbox found near Home Depot, Huntsville
Found this blue metal toolbox this afternoon around 2:15 pm in the parking lot behind the Home Depot on University Drive in Huntsville. It's about 14 inches long, with a bright yellow plastic handle and a slightly bent lid, plus a small magnetic tray inside. The box is still fairly clean, but the label on the inside reads REDLINE and there’s a wrinkled receipt from a hardware store stuffed in the bottom. I figured someone might be missing it after a quick DIY run, and I hate to see someone waste time looking for it. If you’re missing a toolbox, I hope this helps.
