On Sunday morning around 9:20 a.m., I found a small stack of photographs lying on the sidewalk near the Montana State Capitol, along Last Chance Gulch in Helena. One photo shows a family portrait, another a wedding shot from decades ago; the edges are bent and the back has faint handwriting. My heart went soft thinking about someone’s memories being lost in the bustle, so I tucked them away safely and contacted the lost-and-found desk. I lost my prized 1980s comic book while walking in downtown Helena last week. It's a limited edition issue of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and has some wear and tear but is still in pretty decent condition.
