Last night, around 7:45 p.m., I realized my Holiday Decorations were gone from the front porch by Heartland City Square, behind Heartland City Hall on Main Street. The plastic storage bin had a red lid, and inside were garlands, a tangle of colored lights, and a vintage Nativity set we’ve used every year since we moved here. These decorations aren’t just stuff to me; they mark the start of our family’s Christmas in Heartland. I’m hopeful someone nearby found them and kept them safe. Lost organizers in Heartland, FL
On Friday around 7:40 p.m., I was helping set up at the Heartland Community Center for the town market, and I realized my organizers were missing from the folding table near the gazebo by Heartland City Park. They’re a white binder with a clear pocket on the cover and a label I wrote, 'Volunteer Schedule,' plus a few sticky notes sticking out. Losing them threw my week into a scramble because every meeting and note was tracked inside. If the finder sees this, I’d be grateful to have them back; they’re a lifeline for my volunteer routine.

I found a small brass compass in a cracked leather pouch this afternoon around 4:15 pm, tucked under a bench outside Riverside Market on Main Street in Heartland Florida. The compass is brass with a green patina, about the size of a large coin, and the glass face is a touch scratched but still readable. The inner flap of the pouch has a faded stitched initials 'AR'. There's also a tiny enamel pin shaped like a koi fish in blue and white attached to the pouch strap. It looks well-used but still functional. If this is anyone's, I hope it can find its way home soon.
