Lost sculptures near Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

near the Hilton Hawaiian Village Lost listing Posted 3 days ago

Description

On Friday around 6:15 p.m., I was strolling along Kalakaua Avenue near the Hilton Hawaiian Village when I realized my sculptures were gone from my tote. There are three pieces: a small dragon in sunset glaze, a spiraling abstract form, and a standing hula figure; each about 12 inches tall. I spent the next hour retracing steps along Waikiki Beach, from the Duke Kahanamoku statue to the Kuhio Beach showers, hoping to find them. The evening light turned the water copper and my heart sank; these works mean a lot to a local project, and I'm desperate to have them back.
