Lost belt near Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii
I was hiking Diamond Head Summit Trail and trudging along Kalakaua Avenue near Waikiki Beach around 9:15 am last Saturday when I realized my belts were missing from my backpack. It’s a simple black leather belt with a silver buckle, nothing fancy but essential to how I dress and feel put-together. I retraced my steps along the beachfront, checked the benches by the Duke Kahanamoku statue, and even peered under a few vending carts, but the belt didn’t turn up. Losing it today left me feeling a little off, so I’m hoping this finds its way back to me.
Lost sculptures near Waikiki Beach, Honolulu
On Friday around 6:15 p.m., I was strolling along Kalakaua Avenue near the Hilton Hawaiian Village when I realized my sculptures were gone from my tote. There are three pieces: a small dragon in sunset glaze, a spiraling abstract form, and a standing hula figure; each about 12 inches tall. I spent the next hour retracing steps along Waikiki Beach, from the Duke Kahanamoku statue to the Kuhio Beach showers, hoping to find them. The evening light turned the water copper and my heart sank; these works mean a lot to a local project, and I'm desperate to have them back.
Found toy train near Waikiki
I found a small blue toy train wedged under a bench on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday. The wheels click when I nudge it, and the paint has a few chips from a hundred little adventures. I picture a child dragging it along the shore as the sun sets behind Diamond Head. It felt like a quiet moment of connection with a memory someone cherished, and I’m posting it here in case the owner recognizes the piece.
Lost chargers at Ala Moana Center, Honolulu, Saturday afternoon
On Saturday around 3:40 PM, I realized my chargers were missing somewhere around the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. I had just wrapped up a quick meeting and was heading to the parking lot when I noticed the chargers were gone from my tote. They include a black USB-C wall charger in a gray pouch and a spare cable; I rely on them daily for work, and this hiccup is stressing me out as I prepare for a client call. If anyone handed them in near the Food Court or Macy's, please drop them at the lost-and-found.

LOST: Toasters in Hawaii.
I woke up early and started my day in Waikiki. Around 7:30 a.m. today I left two white toasters with a black dial on the counter in our building's shared kitchen on Kalakaua Avenue, just a block from Waikiki Beach. One toaster has a small dent on the left corner; the other shows a coffee-stain finish on the chrome. I must have walked out after breakfast, and now I’m hoping someone picked them up and left them somewhere reachable. It means a lot to have them back, since they’re part of my daily routine and memories of home.
Lost passport in Waikiki, Hawaii
Hello, I’m Leilani Kahele. Yesterday around 6:45 p.m., I realized I’d misplaced my passport while strolling near Kuhio Beach in Waikiki, by the Duke Kahanamoku statue. I’d paused at a bench along Kalakaua Avenue and think I left it there. It’s in a black leather cover with a small Hawaii sticker inside. I’m feeling overwhelmed and anxious, as I’m far from home and this document is essential.

Sunburst koa ukulele with pineapple inlay
I lost my sunburst koa ukulele yesterday around 3pm near the Duke Kahanamoku statue at Kuhio Beach in Waikiki. It's a concert-sized instrument with a satin sunburst koa finish, a pineapple inlay around the soundhole, and a small dent on the lower bout. There’s a tiny pineapple sticker on the back and a blue woven strap with a white wave pattern attached to the strap button by the heel. I learned to play it here, and it means a lot to me—it's been in the family for years and was a gift from my grandmother, so I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it, text me at 808-555-0142 or email [email protected].
Blue ceramic teapot with bamboo lid
I found this blue ceramic teapot with a bamboo lid this morning around 9:15am on Kalakaua Avenue, right outside the Duke Kahanamoku statue in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii. It's about 1.2 liters, with a glossy cobalt glaze and a tiny chip on the rim. On the bottom there is a faint maker's mark that reads 'Nalu Ceramics.' The lid fits snugly, and the overall look is clean aside from that small flaw. If you own it, I’d love to get it back—send me a message here and we can meet near the statue in Waikiki to hand it over.
Red-sleeved Anker PowerCore 10000 portable charger
I lost my red-sleeved Anker PowerCore 10000 portable charger yesterday around 3pm outside the Duke Kahanamoku statue on Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki. It's a palm-sized black power bank with a bright red silicone sleeve, and there's a small white hibiscus sticker on the sleeve plus a tiny dent on the bottom edge from a fall last week. It still charges fine, but I really need it back to stay connected while I'm here in Hawaii. If you found it, reach out and we can arrange a pickup.
Bright orange 6 feet 2 inches surfboard with blue leash
I lost my bright orange 6 feet 2 inches surfboard yesterday around 3pm near the Duke Kahanamoku statue on Waikiki Beach, along Kalakaua Avenue. It's used but in decent shape, with a small dent near the tail and two blue stickers—one pineapple, one with an 'Aloha' script—centered on the deck. A blue traction pad sits just ahead of the tail and it has a white single fin. This board has sentimental value; I learned to surf on it and I really need it back to keep riding here in Hawaii. If anyone found it, please email [email protected] and we can arrange a pickup near the lifeguard tower by the Waikiki Beach Walk.
Tan OluKai sandals with lime stitching
I found a pair of OluKai sandals this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the ABC Stores on Kalakaua Ave, right near Waikiki Beach Walk. They’re tan leather with lime-green stitching and a slightly scuffed sole, size 9 men’s. The left strap has a tiny hibiscus sticker near the buckle, a little detail that could help identify the owner. They’re still a bit sandy from the beach, but otherwise in good shape. If these belong to you, reply with the brand, size, and that hibiscus detail to claim them.
Cream tabby with blue collar missing near Waikiki
I'm really worried I lost my cat Suki yesterday evening around 6pm. She's a cream tabby, about 9 pounds, with a distinctive white heart-shaped patch on her chest and a bright blue collar with a tiny silver bell. I last saw her by the Duke's Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue, just outside the Royal Hawaiian Center, and she slipped out when I was unloading groceries. She's friendly but tends to hide from new people, so please don't chase her if you see her, call or text me instead. If anyone returns her, she has sentimental value and means the world to me today, and I’d be forever grateful to bring her home.
Missing 14-year-old boy near Waikiki Beach
I lost my little brother, Kai Nakamura, yesterday around 3pm near Waikiki Beach, by the Duke Kahanamoku statue. He was wearing a bright red Hurley t-shirt, dark blue board shorts, and black sneakers. He’s 14 years old, about 5'4", with sandy hair and a few freckles across his nose; he also has a small birthmark on his left calf. I’m really worried and this is tearing us up—if you saw him or have any information, please reach out, even if it’s a vague sighting. Any tip could help bring him home safely.
