Lost CDs in Hartford near Bushnell Park
I was leaving the Hartford Public Library on Main Street around 4:15 p.m. last Friday and must have dropped my CDs somewhere near Constitution Plaza, possibly close to Bushnell Park. The case is a plain black jewel case with a blue 'Indie Mix' sticker in my handwriting. I'm anxious because a few of those discs are rare live recordings from local bands and a couple of personal mixes that mean a lot to me. If someone picked them up, please hold onto them for a bit and I’ll come by the library desk to verify ownership.

I lost my beige Hartford Pocket Atlas this afternoon. It's a small paperback, about 5 by 7 inches, with a red ribbon bookmark sticking out a bit. There’s a coffee stain on the back cover and a light crease along the spine from walking too many hills around town. I last had it near the Hartford Public Library on Main Street, right outside the coffee cart near the entrance; I was jotting down routes for a weekend trip. It’s sentimental because it was a gift from my grandmother who loved maps, and I really need it back for the research I’m doing this week.

I lost my favorite paperback novel, 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho, while walking through Riverside Park in Hartford on Saturday afternoon. I stopped to sit on a bench and think, and I must have left it there. It has my name written inside the cover, and I would really love to have it back.
