Lost hand tools after DIY project at Waterside District
I was wrapping up a small cabinet repair on Friday evening, around 6:45 p.m., and my hand tools vanished from the tote in my truck near the Waterside District in Norfolk. The red toolbox, a yellow tape measure, and a scuffed set of screwdrivers were all in one place, easy to spot when I closed the tailgate. I retraced my steps along the harbor boardwalk and back toward Granby Street, but nothing turned up. I'm hoping someone nearby found them and kept them safe—the tools are essential for my next home project, and I could really use them back.
Lost two toasters in Ghent, Norfolk
I lost two toasters in the Hampton Roads area, around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2025, in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, near Harbor Park. I was juggling groceries and chatting with neighbors when I must have left them on the communal patio outside my building. It sounds silly, but I rely on them for weekend breakfasts, and I’m hoping they’ll turn up. Please claim through the site if these are yours, and I’ll arrange pickup.
Cream king-size duvet cover with navy piping
I found a cream king-size duvet cover with navy piping this afternoon around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind the Norfolk Premium Outlets on N. Military Highway in Norfolk. It's soft microfiber, and the bottom-right corner has a small pine tree embroidery in forest green, plus a tiny snag along the hem and a faint coffee stain along the top edge. It looks gently used, and I figured someone might be missing it and would be really relieved to get it back. If this sounds like yours, we can coordinate a simple pickup near that area.
Red Le Creuset Dutch oven with lid
I lost my red Le Creuset Dutch oven yesterday around 3pm near the Granby Street area in Norfolk's Ghent neighborhood, Hampton Roads. It's a five-quart, enameled cast-iron pot with a glossy cherry-red exterior and a cream interior, and the lid has a small chip near the stainless steel knob. There’s a faint scorch mark on the bottom from a pasta night accident, but otherwise it's in good shape. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me, so I’d really appreciate getting it back if anyone happened to find it around that area. If you spot it, please drop me a message and I’ll arrange a quick pickup.
Navy blue armchair with light oak legs
I lost my navy blue upholstered armchair with light oak legs yesterday around 3pm near the Slover Library on Colley Avenue in Norfolk. It's about 32 inches wide, with a faint coffee stain on the seat and a tiny scratch on the right armrest. One of the cushions has a small tear along the back seam from years of use. It was a gift from my grandmother and holds sentimental value, so I'd really appreciate it if anyone saw it.
