I was walking my two dogs along the Riverside Esplanade near Itchen Bridge around 6:20 pm yesterday when the two leashes slipped from my grip. I retraced the route through Riverside Park, asking a few joggers and dog walkers, but the leashes are gone. One leash is blue with a reflective stripe; the other is plain black with a red clip. I feel anxious and hopeful at once, because these leashes belong to dogs who rely on me, and I just want them back safe.
