Lost & found string instruments in Green Bay

Last Thursday at about 7:15 p.m., I left rehearsal near Walnut Street and walked toward CityDeck on the Fox River when I realized my two violins were missing from my case. They’re in a worn black hard case; one is an older varnished model with a faint crack, the other is a newer lighter wood with a bright tailpiece. I retraced steps along the brick sidewalks, past the Meyer Theatre and the riverfront, checking benches and storefronts, but the evening light faded and nothing turned up. These instruments aren’t just tools—they carry years of practice and memories, and I’m hoping they were found and kept safe.
