Found quilt set near Brown County Courthouse

Yesterday at 4:15 p.m., downtown Green Bay, near the Brown County Courthouse, I found a stack of quilts left on a bench after a light rain. The fabrics are patchwork blues, greens, and creams, with a border that’s faded to a soft yellow from sun and time. A small sewn label on one quilt reads something I can’t make out, but I left everything as I found it, smoothing the folds and checking for any name. It feels like a piece of someone’s family history, and I hope the rightful owner will recognize it and claim it.
