Lost Microwaves, Glens Falls, NY
I was loading two microwaves into a rental truck behind Crandall Park after a long move, around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. I must have left them near the back of the truck at the Crandall Park Pavilion area while I tied down straps. I retraced the path along the park’s sidewalks toward the gazebo, but the appliances were gone. They’re two basic countertop microwaves in black, nothing fancy but essential for our kitchen step-back; losing them disrupts a lot more than dinner. If you happened to see anything near Crandall Park around that time, please keep an eye out.

This morning around 10:30 AM, I found a piece of wall art leaning against a storefront near Crandall Park on Broad Street in Glens Falls. It’s a colorful abstract canvas, about 18 by 24 inches, with layers of teal and burnt orange. I picked it up and checked for any notes, but there wasn’t a name or tag. I’m leaving it here in case the owner recognizes it by sight and comes by the storefront to claim it.

Today at about 2:30 p.m., I found a bag of hand tools resting on a bench near Crandall Park in Glens Falls. The bag holds a worn hammer, a set of screwdrivers, a tape measure, and a crescent wrench with some rust. The tools look used but in good order, and there was no one around, so I picked them up and brought them to the site to help the owner reclaim them. I know how losing tools can ruin a project, so I’m posting the details here in case the rightful owner sees this and claims them through the site.

I was cooking dinner last night and realized that my beloved wooden spoon is missing. I usually keep it on the counter but must have accidentally left it at the park near Broadalbin Street while I was preparing a picnic. It has some wear marks from use and is very special to me. I lost a plush, dark blue king-size comforter while moving in and around Glens Falls last weekend. It may have slipped out of my car or got left behind during the move. It's quite soft, and I forgot how attached I was to it until I couldn't find it! If anyone finds it or has seen it, please let me know!
