Lost stamps near The Strand, Galveston
While sorting through my stamp album at the Seawall promenade yesterday around 4:20 PM, I realized a small leather case with my stamp collection had slipped from my bag. The case held about a dozen stamps from the 1960s and 70s, some with bright cancellations and a few creased corners. I’ve had these stamps since childhood, and losing them stings because they carry memories of trips with my grandfather. If anyone found them, I’d be grateful to be reunited with them through the site.
Blue Trek road bike with turquoise water bottle
I lost my blue Trek road bike yesterday around 3pm while I was riding along the Seawall near 61st Street, right behind Moody Gardens. It’s a medium-frame bike with white handlebar tape and a turquoise water bottle in the cage. There’s a small dent on the left crank and a black saddle bag under the seat with a red reflective sticker. This bike is my daily ride and it also has sentimental value—it was a gift from my grandmother, so I really need it back. If you’ve seen it or picked it up, please message me—I’d be forever grateful to get it back.
Blue Shimano spinning rod with orange reel, lost
I was out fishing along the Seawall Blvd near 61st Street by the Galveston Fishing Pier yesterday around 3pm when I must have left my blue Shimano spinning rod behind. It's a 6'6" graphite rod with a black foam grip that I’ve taped with blue electrical tape, and the reel has a bright orange dial with a tiny dent on the side. A white-and-blue striped lure is still attached to the line, and there’s a blue zip-tie looped around the handle to mark it as mine. This rod has sentimental value—it’s the one I used with my dad when we used to fish here; I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Lost orange and black tennis racket at the public courts near Galveston.
I lost my orange and black tennis racket while practicing at the public courts near Galveston last weekend. I think I might have left it there when I went to grab a drink. It's in great condition, and I'm really hoping to get it back.
Found a hand-painted ceramic vase with intricate floral designs on a Galveston beach.
I found a stunning hand-painted ceramic vase washed up on the beach in Galveston last weekend. It has intricate floral designs and is about 12 inches tall with a slight wave in its neck. It seemed too beautiful to leave behind. If it's yours, I would love to get it back to you!
