Lost: postcards from grandma in Galveston
I was on The Strand outside The Tremont House at about 7:15 PM last Sunday when I realized my postcards were gone. They're a small stack, pale blue with seaside photos from Galveston, and they all came from my grandmother, who died last year. I kept them in a tin inside my bag, and I swear I last saw the tin near the bench by the Strand entrance. I retraced my steps to the Seawall and back to the Tremont, asking a couple strangers if they’d seen a tin, but nothing turned up. Losing them feels like losing a piece of her, something I can’t replace, and my heart aches a bit every time I think about it.
Space gray iPad Pro 11” in blue case
I lost my space gray iPad Pro 11-inch in a blue silicone case yesterday around 3pm outside The Strand on Mechanic Street near 23rd Street in Galveston. The back has a white sticker with a hand-drawn cat and the name Kiki—super distinctive. The screen has a small crack at the top-right corner, and there's a soft dent along the bottom edge from a fall last week. It’s loaded with travel photos and class notes, and it really means a lot to me; I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back. If found, please message me here.
