Found belts near The Oaks Mall, Gainesville
While strolling near The Oaks Mall in Gainesville around 6:40 pm yesterday, I spotted a small pile of belts tucked under a bench by the parking lot. There are five belts in different widths and colors, one with a bright red tip and another with a braided leather strap. I arranged them on the bench and left a note, hoping the owner would recognize their favorites among them. I know how a belt can feel like a daily companion, and it would be a relief to see them back on someone’s waist. If these are yours, please claim via the site.

They’re size 9, white with a faint gray speckle on the heel, and the left shoe has a bright blue shoelace tucked inside—a quirky personal touch; one lace is a bit frayed from a run to catch the bus. I was wearing them when I stopped at the UF Bookstore on Archer Road to grab a quick coffee, so they ended up slipping off during the stroll. They mean a lot because they were a gift from my sister, and I really need them back.
