I lost a small wooden keepsake box yesterday around 3pm—it's in the Other Miscellaneous Items category. It’s about 6 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 2 inches tall, dark walnut with a brass latch that sticks a bit when you close it. The inside is lined with red velvet, and there’s a faded photo of my grandmother and a tiny brass compass keychain attached to the lid. There are two tiny pencil marks on the bottom where I wrote a note long ago, those marks are unique identifying features. It has huge sentimental value—it was a gift from my grandmother and I really need it back. I last had it near the Save Mart on Blackstone Ave in Fresno, possibly between the grocery entrance and the bike racks.
I last saw my brother, John Doe, near River Park in Fresno around 5 PM on Thursday. He was wearing a blue jacket, jeans, and was likely carrying his brown leather backpack. I found a pair of blue Nike swim shorts this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Target at the River Park shopping center on Blackstone Ave in Fresno. They're royal blue nylon with a white Nike swoosh on the left leg, size M, and the mesh liner is visible. The drawstring is a bit faded and there’s a small stain near the waistband plus a tiny pull on the bottom hem, easy to spot if you know them. I found this sweet orange tabby cat wandering near Woodward Park in Fresno. The cat seems well taken care of and loves to follow people around. It's very friendly and has no collar. I’ve been feeding it in hopes that someone will recognize it. Please reach out if this is your cat!
I found a beautiful handmade tambourine while walking in Roeding Park in Fresno. It has a bright blue embroidered fabric covering with silver jingles that have a lovely sound when shaken. I’m not sure who it belongs to, but I hope to reunite it with its owner.
I found a black leather briefcase while walking my dog near the Madera Courthouse yesterday afternoon. It has some wear and tear, but it looks like it could belong to a professional. I found a gorgeous silver ring with a bright blue gemstone while walking my dog at Woodward Park in Fresno. It was lying in the grass close to one of the walking paths.
