Lost Photographs in Fredericksburg, VA
I'm Grace Bennett, and I lost a bundle of photographs from college days this morning around 11:20 a.m. on Caroline Street in Fredericksburg's historic downtown. They're tucked into a black leather wallet and include family shots from the 1990s and a few prints from the old Fredericksburg train depot. I remember hurrying past the cottages and shops near the Fredericksburg Amtrak Station, then realizing the wallet wasn't in my tote. These photos carry memories of my grandparents' WWII days, and losing them hurts more than I expected; this is a LOST item.
Found USB Drives near Hurkamp Park
I found two USB drives around 3:30 p.m. today near Hurkamp Park along Caroline Street in Fredericksburg. One drive is in a blue plastic case with a label that says 'Project X,' the other is plain but has a red sticker I didn't want to touch. They clearly belong to someone who was working on something important, and it feels right to try to get them back. I’m keeping them safe here, hoping the owner sees this post and reclaim them through the site.
Blue Penguin Classics paperback with orange bookmark
I lost my blue Penguin Classics paperback yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Caroline Street in Fredericksburg. It's a trade paperback, about 5.5 by 8 inches, with an orange ribbon bookmark and a faint coffee ring on the back cover. A dog-eared page at chapter 7 and a note inside written in my grandmother's handwriting make it extra sentimental. If you find it, I’d be forever grateful—you can drop it off at the Fredericksburg Public Library or reply to [email protected].
