Lost Driver's License in Fort Lauderdale
Last Tuesday around 6:15 p.m., I lost my driver's license after a stroll along Las Olas Boulevard near the Riverwalk. I retraced my steps from the Riverside Market to the Stranahan House, asking a few vendors along the way, but I didn't find it. This ID is crucial for my upcoming flight, and the thought of being unable to travel is making me anxious. If someone picked it up, I hope it's kept safe and turned in at the nearest desk so the owner can claim it through the proper channels.
US passport found near Las Olas Riverfront
I found a US passport this afternoon around 3:45pm near the Riverwalk at Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The burgundy cover is a touch creased with the Great Seal still clear, and there's a small coffee ring along the back edge. Inside, the standard data page is visible, and the photo shows a traveler in a light blue shirt—nothing legible from the outside, of course. I slipped it into a protective pouch in my bag to keep it safe and I really hope to reunite it with its owner.
