LOST: Studs in Flint, Michigan
Hi, I’m Maya Collins, a graphic designer living in Flint. I lost a pair of studs after leaving Genesee Valley Center, near the main entrance, around 2:30 pm last Thursday. They’re small gold hoops with delicate moon charms, the ones I wore to celebrate finishing a big project. They were a gift from my grandma, and losing them stings extra because they carry her memory. I looked around the mall’s corridors, by the food court, and even along Saginaw Street, but nothing turned up. If you’ve seen them around the Genesee Valley Center area, please tuck them away somewhere safe until they’re reunited with me.

Last Friday around 7:40 p.m., I realized the brooches were missing outside the Michigan Theatre on S. Saginaw Street after I stepped out to take a call. They’re a pair: one with a sapphire stone and the other with a small pearl. I’d tucked them in the pocket of my blazer while I chatted with a friend, and when I turned back they were just gone from the bench by the entrance. They belonged to my grandmother, and losing them feels like losing a piece of her—I’m hoping for a friendly return from someone who might have picked them up by mistake.
Gold ring with sapphire and inner heart engraving
Yesterday around 3pm I slipped off my gold ring near the Bank of America on Saginaw Street in downtown Flint. It's a 14k yellow gold ring with a small round sapphire in a bezel setting, about 5-6mm across, with a slender, slightly scratched band. On the inside there are tiny initials 'JP' and a tiny heart engraving along the inner edge. It's a gift from my grandmother and I wear it every day, so it's really meaningful to me. If anyone found it, I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
