I realized I lost a bundle of old photographs after our family hike along the Gorge Trail at Watkins Glen State Park on Saturday around 4:15 p.m. The pictures span generations—black-and-white portraits and a wedding photo from 1998—tucked in a small red album. I remember sitting on a sun-warmed rock above the stream near Rainbow Falls, then rushing back to the car when the light faded and the album wasn't in my tote. They mean the world to me, especially the shot of my grandmother; I’m hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe.

They looked like someone had left them behind, and they aren’t mine. The collection includes indie rock and a few older pop CDs, with a faded blue case and a sticker from a local music shop. I’m hoping the owner sees this and claims them through the site; I just picked them up to keep them safe in case someone returns for them.
