Found: Passports in Fairbanks, Alaska
While walking home from downtown Fairbanks near the Morris Thompson Cultural Center around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, I spotted a passport folder resting on a bench by the bus stop. Inside were two passports, their covers dark and official-looking, with pages slightly creased from the cold. I tucked them into my jacket pocket for safekeeping, hoping the rightful owner will recognize this post and retrieve them. It felt strange yet important to hold someone else’s travel documents, but I knew I had to do the right thing.
Lost driver's license in downtown Fairbanks
I’m Sophie Andrews. I’m visiting Fairbanks and holding onto a lot of worry about my Driver’s License. I sat down for a coffee at Kaladi Brothers on Cushman Street around 6:15 p.m. last Friday, and I must have left the license on the table outside the Morris Thompson Cultural Center while I checked my bag. It’s a standard blue card with my photo; I’m anxious because I need it for travel and IDs. I carried it in my wallet, and losing it has me feeling unsettled.
