Lost postcards in Elmira-Corning
I was wandering through the Elmira-Corning area around 2:30 p.m. on Monday when I realized I had lost a small stack of postcards from a Finger Lakes trip. They're colorful mementos—pictures from Watkins Glen, Ithaca, and the lake districts—meant to go into a scrapbook. They could have fallen from my tote near the Arnot Mall entrance. If found, I would love to have them back so I can finish the album and relive those memories.
Lost USB drives in Elmira-Corning area
On Monday at 3:15 PM, I realized I left three USB drives in a small black case on a bench near Eldridge Park in Elmira. I had stopped there after a quick errand, and the bench overlooked the Chemung River, with a few pigeons fluttering above the walkway. I am frantic about the data on those drives—one holds client files, another the project notes, and the third has a personal research archive. The drives were in a black neoprene sleeve with a blue zipper, and I last touched them while checking a map at the Elmira-Corning Main Street crossing. If you found them, please return them to the site; I am hoping someone picked them up and handed them in.
