Found medication bottle near Stanton Kroger on Main Street, Stanton, Eastern Kentucky, at 2:15 p.m. on a sunny Tuesday. It sat on a concrete planter with the cap loose and a few pills rattling inside; the label was smeared, but I could tell it belonged to someone who relies on it daily. I picked it up carefully and kept it safe, thinking how stressful it would be to lose a prescribed routine.
