Lost leashes in Eastern Colorado
I’m Ava Brooks, a dog owner living in Eastern Colorado. I lost two leashes last Friday around 8:15 p.m. after a short walk along Highway 287 near Bent’s Old Fort, by the Arkansas River. A gust tugged them from my wrist as I stepped into a shady picnic area, and they likely slid behind a bench or into the undergrowth by the trailhead. One leash is blue with a white paw print; the other is black with a green stripe. They’re well-used and remind me of my sister’s gift. I’m hoping they’re still somewhere close and safe, not swept away by the wind.

We found a golden retriever wandering near the park in Eastern CO this afternoon. She was very friendly and seemed lost, with no collar and no tags. We've started calling her Bella, and she's been great company since we brought her home. We really hope to reunite her with her rightful owner!

I found a friendly brown and white Beagle mix trotting around a gas station just outside of Lamar, Eastern CO. It has a collar but no tags, and seems to be well taken care of. I brought it home to make sure it was safe and wanted to see if anyone might be missing this sweet pup.
