Lost: Equipment for Various Sports in East Oregon
Last Friday around 5:50 p.m., I left my bag of sports gear in the gym entrance at East Oregon Community College after a quick practice. I turned back for it a few minutes later and found the hall quiet and the bag gone. It’s got my soccer cleats, a basketball, a tennis racket, and a whistle—the stuff I use for three different leagues, and it carries a lot of memories. I’d just rearranged my week to fit in a couple of extra workouts, so losing it really stings. If anyone happened to see a gym bag left behind, I’d be grateful to recover it and get back to the courts.
Lost Coins from grandfather in East Oregon downtown
I was at East Oregon's Main Street Market around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday when I realized my Coins tin was missing. The tin held my grandfather's coins, including a few 1940s pieces and a couple of commemoratives, all wrapped in a green velvet pouch. It meant a lot to me, and the dented lid and the smell of aged copper still linger in my memory. If you found a coin tin like this in East Oregon, please connect through the site so I can be reunited with them.
Blue plush dragon with red scarf
I lost my daughter's blue plush dragon yesterday around 3pm near the East Oregon Public Library on Maple Ave. It's a 14-inch plush with soft blue fur, a yellow star stitched on its chest, and a tiny tear at the edge of one wing. It wears a bright red knitted scarf that’s a bit faded from washings. The tag inside the tail says Ember, so that's a good clue. This toy is really sentimental to her and helps her sleep; we’d be so grateful to get it back if anyone found it.
