They looked recently left and a little damp from the drizzle. My mind went to someone rushing to a train, sandals hanging from a bag, shoes forgotten in the bustle. I picked them up, checked for a note, and found nothing. I hope the owner sees this and can reclaim them, perhaps near Old Market Square or the station's main doors.

I found this navy wool trench coat this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Victoria Centre near Market Square in Nottingham, East Midlands. It's knee-length, size M, double-breasted with a tan leather belt and brass buckles. The inside lining is black satin with a tiny fox embroidery on the left pocket and there's a small zip pocket for keys.
