Lost action figures near Snake River Greenbelt
I lost my action figures after a quick stop at the Snake River Greenbelt in Idaho Falls around 7:20 p.m. on Friday. I had them seated on a bench by the overlook while I checked my GPS on my phone, and when I got up to walk toward the snack cart, they were gone. They’re an uneven mix of heroes from my childhood, some with a little paint wear and one with a sticker from a garage sale I did with my sister. They mean a lot to me—these small figures carried lots of memories from family movie nights. I’m really hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe until I can get back to the area.
Vintage coin collection in black leather pouch
I lost a small black leather pouch that held a vintage coin collection that's really special to me. Yesterday around 3pm I realized it was missing after leaving the Market Street entrance to the Library Plaza in downtown Idaho Falls, East Idaho. The pouch is about 5x3 inches, pebble-grain black leather with a brass snap that’s a bit loose. Inside are three coins in clear sleeves: a 1909-S Lincoln cent, a worn 1921 Morgan silver dollar, and a 1943 steel cent; there’s a tiny red thread tied to the zipper pull as a unique clue. The pouch shows wear on the bottom corner and a faint coffee stain on the back. It’s a family keepsake from my grandfather, and I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
Framed landscape painting found along Idaho Falls Riverwalk
I found a framed landscape painting yesterday around 3pm along the Idaho Falls Riverwalk near the Main Street Bridge. It's a 16x20 inch oil-on-canvas piece in a slightly worn dark oak frame, with peaceful greens and blues depicting a mountain lake. The back has a label that reads Studio North, Idaho Falls and there's a small handwritten note with initials MR in the corner; there's a tiny water stain along the bottom edge and a faint signature in the lower right corner. If the owner sees this, I would be glad to help reunite you, it's clearly sentimental.
