I found it yesterday around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind the Lake Superior Brewing Co on Harbor Drive, near Canal Park in Duluth. It's in pretty good condition, with a small heart-shaped scratch on the bottom and a barely worn handle grip, and I’m hoping the owner recognizes it. Silver flute found near Canal Park, Duluth

I found a silver Yamaha flute this afternoon around 3:15 pm, left on a bench near the Canal Park lighthouse and the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth. It's a student-grade model, about 26 inches long, with a few tiny scratches along the foot joint. The lip plate is engraved with the initials 'ML', and the case is black with a red lining. Inside the case I found a cleaning rod and a folded blue cloth, which might help confirm ownership. Found red-eared slider turtle near Canal Park, Duluth

I found a red-eared slider turtle this afternoon around 2:15 pm near the Canal Park Lighthouse along Harbor Drive in Duluth. It's about 4 inches long, with a bright green shell and distinct yellow stripes along each scute, and a telltale red patch behind the left eye. It also has a small crescent-shaped scar on the back edge of the shell and a faint scuff on the front right claw from a climb. It seemed alert but a bit chilly, so I kept him in a breathable tote with a damp towel while I looked for the owner. I found a dragon plush this afternoon around 4:15pm along the Lakewalk near the Canal Park lighthouse in Duluth. It's a medium-sized toy, about 12 inches long, lime green with purple wings and a white belly. It has a blue star embroidered on its chest, a tiny orange stitch on the left paw, and a rainbow ribbon tied around its neck. The fabric is a little worn and there's a small seam tear under the right wing, but otherwise it's clean and in good shape. It looks like it might have belonged to a kid who cherishes it, so I'm hoping to find the owner and return it.

Blue Nike swim shorts found near Canal Park

I found these blue Nike swim shorts this afternoon around 3:15pm, tucked behind a planter near the Canal Park parking lot off Canal Park Drive in Duluth. They’re men's size Large, bright royal blue with a white drawstring and a small white Nike swoosh on the left leg. The fabric shows light wear and a couple of tiny saltwater stains, but there are no tears. Inside the waistband there’s a label that reads 'Nike Swim L' and a stitched initials patch 'AK' that could help verify ownership.
