Lost sports equipment bag near Dubuque Riverwalk.
LOST: I left my Equipment for Various Sports bag on a bench near the outdoor basketball court at the Dubuque Riverwalk along the Mississippi around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. When I returned, the bag had disappeared. Inside are gear for multiple sports: a basketball, a soccer ball, a pair of running shoes, shin guards, and a dusty tennis racket. The bag is gray with a blue stripe and a small red logo. I’m frantic because we have a weekend league coming up, and these items are hard to replace. I retraced my steps along the Riverwalk and asked a few joggers and cafe workers, but there was no sign. If it turns up, I’d be incredibly grateful.

I lost a pair of small landscape paintings last Saturday. At around 3:15 PM, I was strolling along the Dubuque Riverwalk by the Diamond Jo Casino when I set them on a bench to check my bag, and they vanished when I turned back. The paintings are about 12x16 inches, with orange sunset skies over a quiet Mississippi river scene, in simple black frames. These pieces mean a lot to me, and I’m hoping they turn up where I left them so I can breathe a little easier.

I was strolling the Dubuque Riverwalk by the Diamond Jo Casino around 3:45 pm yesterday when I realized my pocket felt lighter. I had been counting coins—mostly old pennies, a dented silver dime, and a tiny keepsake from my grandfather. The river glowed in the late light and families lingered by the marina, making the moment feel busier than it was. I retraced my steps along the railing, past the benches, and by the small pier, but I couldn’t find them. Those coins aren’t valuable, but they mean a lot to me, and I’m praying someone picked them up and kept them safe until I could return to the dockside kiosk.
