Two microwaves lost near Dubuque Riverfront
I was loading two microwaves into the back of my pickup after a quick trip to the store along Main Street near the Riverfront in Dubuque. It was about 6:45 p.m. yesterday when a momentary distraction had me turn away to grab my jacket, and the tailgate slipped free. By the time I realized, the two stainless steel microwaves were gone. They are identical models, both a dark gray with white handles, and they were my apartment's only quick heat option as I settle into a new place. I am scrambling to replace them and remain hopeful that someone saw them and will return them via the site.
Lost utensils near Riverwalk, Dubuque
I was helping prep a small dinner along the Mississippi at the Riverwalk near the Diamond Jo Casino when I must have dropped my utensils. By 6:15 pm on Sunday, the crowd drifted along the riverfront, and I couldn't find the set, a battered stainless spoon, a wooden spatula, and a chipped ladle. Those utensils mean a lot to me because they were my grandmother's, the ones she used to stir soup on chilly Dubuque evenings. I retraced from the riverfront overlook toward the fountain and back along the pedestrian bridge, but I didn't spot them, and I'm hoping a kind passer-by held onto them until I could return.

I found a DeWalt 20V cordless drill this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Diamond Jo Casino on West 2nd Street, Dubuque. It’s the yellow-and-black XR model, with a slightly beat-up plastic housing and a scuffed grip. It came with a charger and two spare bits, all tucked into a bright yellow hard case. One unique feature is a blue sticker on the battery labeled 'AK' in sharpie, plus a small dent on the left side of the handle. If this is your tool, shoot me a message and we can arrange a pickup.
