Ludwig Black Beauty 5x14 snare drum, lost
I'm posting because I lost my Ludwig Black Beauty 5x14 snare drum yesterday around 3pm outside the Detroit Institute of Arts on Woodward Ave in Midtown Detroit. It's in a polished black shell with chrome hardware, tucked inside a black gig bag with a red interior. There's a small dent on the rim near the 12 o'clock lug and a green sticker with my initials 'PP' on the shell. The drum was a gift from my grandfather and means a lot to me; I use it for practice every week. If anyone happened to see it or picked it up by mistake, I'd really appreciate getting it back.

I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm outside the Detroit Institute of Arts on Woodward Ave, near Grand Circus Park. It's a standard concert flute, silver-plated body with a slightly dented headjoint and a few cosmetic scratches along the foot joint. The case is black with a soft velvet lining, and the inside has my initials AK engraved on the lip plate. It was a gift from my aunt, and I really need it back—it means a lot for band practice. I lost my red Yamaha snare drum yesterday around 3pm in the parking lot behind the Fox Theatre on Woodward Ave in Detroit. It's a 14x5.5-inch maple shell with a glossy red lacquer, black hardware, and a blue lightning sticker on the shell. There's a small dent on the rim from a gig last month, and the snare wires feel a bit squeaky when I tune it, which is how I spotted it in a crowd. It vanished somewhere in the Detroit Metro area, most recently near the Detroit Institute of Arts on Woodward Ave in Midtown Detroit after I grabbed a quick coffee at a cafe on Cass Ave. The violin is a warm amber color with a tiny dent on the chin rest and a brass fine tuner on the tailpiece. The bow has a red ribbon bow cover, and the case lining is a worn red satin. This instrument means a lot to me—it's been with me through years of lessons and performances, and I really need it back.

Inside the shell is a sticker with the initials 'JM' and a green music-note sticker on the back, plus two spare sticks tucked in the drum case. It looks like it could belong to a student or local band, and I'd love to see it back with its owner.

I misplaced my walnut-stained snare drum while waiting for a ride outside the Detroit Metro airport last Tuesday. It's an essential part of my set and has some personal engravings on it that make it very unique. I really hope someone finds it.
