Lost Paintings
Grace Turner here. Last Friday around 6:15 p.m., I was walking through the Cathedral Quarter in Derby, Derby, United Kingdom, when I realized my two paintings were missing from my tote. They’re both medium-sized, framed in black, with simple landscapes—one sunlit field, one along a river. I’d left them to dry in a small studio near Friar Gate and must have misplaced them during the walk home to Market Place. They’re important to me, and I’d be grateful if anyone who finds them could get them back to me, please.
Red Nike running shoes, size 9, frayed laces
I lost my red Nike running shoes yesterday around 3pm near the Derby Market Hall on St Peter's Street. They’re size 9, red with a black Swoosh, white midsoles, and the left shoe has a tiny toe scuff plus a blue lace I swapped in last month. The heel has a small reflective tab that’s starting to rub off. These shoes were my go-to for training for a 10k and they fit perfectly and felt dependable; losing them was a real setback. If anyone found them, I’d be incredibly grateful to get them back; I can describe more details or meet up near that area to collect them.
