Lost sandals near Decatur Public Library
Last Tuesday around 8:15 p.m., I was walking from the Decatur Public Library on East North Street toward Main Street after grabbing a slice of pizza at a little spot by Rotary Park. My tan sandals slipped off as I stepped onto a curb by a small fountain. I didn’t realize they were gone until I reached home, and now my feet are sore. They’re the most comfortable pair I own, and I’m hopeful someone picked them up and kept them safe. I’m not sure what else to say—just really hoping to find them.

I lost my navy satin evening gown yesterday around 3pm near the Decatur Square, outside the Rialto Theater on East Court Street. It's an Adrianna Papell floor-length gown, size 6, with a detachable pearl-embellished belt and a tiny tear in the inner lining near the hem. The fabric has a subtle shimmer and feels silky, though it’s a bit wrinkled from being stashed in a garment bag. This gown means a lot to me—it was a gift from my aunt, and I was supposed to wear it to a gala; I’d be beyond grateful to get it back if anyone found it.

I found a charcoal knit scarf this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Decatur Square, outside the CVS on East Court Square. It's a soft, thick scarf about 70 inches long with a subtle heather look and a slightly frayed end. There’s a small red embroidery on the inside tag with the initials 'A.P.' that should help identify the owner. It was tucked under a bench, still clean but a bit dusty from the sidewalk. I lost my black and red Wilson tennis racket at the Decatur parks courts during my match on Saturday afternoon. I remember putting it down while I grabbed water and I just can't find it anywhere!
