I found a set of plastic organizers tucked under a bench near the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, around 11:30 a.m. this morning, near the Ocean Center. They look like a compact travel kit for cords and small gear. It seemed likely someone was rummaging through bags in a hurry, so I picked them up and kept them in a safe place for now. If you recognize these, I hope they belong to you and can be reclaimed soon.
Lost holiday decorations near Daytona Beach Boardwalk
On Friday around 7:15 PM, I was taking down a batch of holiday decorations on the balcony that overlooks the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. A gust swept through, and I swear I saw the tote tip over near Ocean Avenue. By the time I reached downstairs, the garlands and a string of battery-powered lanterns were gone. I spent the next hour retracing my steps along the boardwalk and asking a few neighbors, feeling more anxious with every passerby. They are not just decorations; they are our seaside Christmas tradition. If they turn up anywhere near the Boardwalk, I would be forever grateful.

Found this afternoon a small red enamel keychain shaped like a lobster, about 2 inches long. It's on a frayed black lanyard and has a tiny silver dot on the tail. The lobster has 'J.S.' engraved on the back, plus a faint scratch along the shell. I found it around 2:15 pm today near the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier, along Ocean Avenue by the lifeguard station. It feels like it could be sentimental or a gift, so Iād love to return it to its owner if you recognize it.
