Lost sculptures in Cumberland Valley, PA.
On Friday around 6:45 p.m., I was packing up after the Cumberland Valley Art Walk near the library entrance along the river trail when two of my sculptures disappeared from the display. They’re large abstract pieces on wheeled bases, one with a copper patina and the other a pale blue glaze. I last checked at 7:05 p.m., when the area was almost empty and the gate by the river trail near the Cumberland Valley Visitors Center was closed. I’ve retraced the path along the Yellow Breeches Creek and through the parking lot by the old mill, but they’re gone. I’m heartbroken—these works were an expression of a milestone in my career. If you saw anything, I’d be grateful for any help.
Found: Trading Cards on bench near Capital City Mall
On Saturday at 2:30 p.m., I found a binder of trading cards sitting on a bench outside the Capital City Mall in Camp Hill. The cards are bright and varied—baseball and football sets with foil logos and a tattered black binder sleeve. I picked them up and thought someone might be looking for them, so I kept them in a tote and posted here to help reunite them with their owner. It hits me a bit to imagine someone panicking over losing these, and I’d love to see them back with the right person.
