Lost Wild and Domestic near Missouri Theatre, Columbia
Last Friday around 7:30 pm, I was by the Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia when Wild and Domestic slipped from my tote and vanished. I remember grabbing a quick bite near Shakespeare's Pizza and then sitting on a bench by the entrance, only to realize the book wasn't there anymore. I retraced my steps along Broadway, asking the doorman at The District and the librarian at the library, but it was nowhere to be found. This book is a favorite, and I’m hoping a kind soul picked it up and will drop it here so I can reclaim it.
Found xylophones behind Missouri Theatre, Columbia
I was working a setup at the Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia on Friday, July 12, 2024, around 8:15 PM, when I spotted a small set of xylophones tucked behind a stack of road cases near the loading dock. The bars are bright and the edges a little scraped, with a few mallets resting on the edge. They looked out of place among the cables and crates, so I brought them to the front desk and waited in the lobby, hoping the owner would recognize them. Music travels with people through busy days, and I felt relieved to have kept them safe. If these belong to you, they are waiting on the lobby desk.
Found devices near Missouri Theatre, Columbia
I was wandering through downtown Columbia, Missouri around 2:30 p.m. yesterday when I spotted a black backpack sitting on a bench outside the Missouri Theatre. Inside were a laptop, a tablet, a charger, and a few sticky notes with reminders. The laptop has a cracked screen protector and a Bulldog sticker on the cover. I picked it up and turned it in at the campus safety desk, hoping the owner would see it there soon. Losing devices is stressful, so I hope they get back to their owner quickly.
Lost postcards in Columbia / Jeff City MO
On Saturday around 2:15 PM I was on the MU campus in Columbia, near the Columns, after ducking into a cafe to plan a trip. I had a stack of postcards in my tote and, as I glanced at a map, they slipped from the bag and landed on the bench outside. I walked the block along Broadway and scouted beside the MU library, but no luck. They’re just keepsakes from friends, nothing valuable, and I’d love to have them back.
Lost DVDs near Stephens Lake Park, Columbia, MO
On Sunday around 9:10 p.m., I was at Stephens Lake Park in Columbia after a casual stroll with friends. My backpack sat on a bench near the park’s pavilion and my DVDs spilled out—an old sci-fi box set, a couple of personal recordings. When I came back a minute later, the bag was gone and I can only guess it was picked up by someone else. I don’t care about the other stuff, but those discs mean a lot to me and I’m worried they won’t be returned. If you’ve found them, please report through the site and help me get them back.
Lost Dresses near Ragtag Cinema, Columbia
On Saturday around 7:15 p.m., I realized my dresses were missing after a quick stop for air after a fitting at Ragtag Cinema on Broadway in downtown Columbia. They’re two dresses: one navy with a subtle floral pattern, the other a bright red slip with a soft satin sheen, both tucked into a gray garment bag. I had planned to wear one to a family dinner and the other for a job interview later this month, so you can imagine the knot in my stomach. I hope someone nearby picked them up and kept them safe, maybe on a bench by the Missouri Theatre or at the information desk. I’m still hoping they turn up. This is a LOST item.
Found memory cards in downtown Columbia.
I was strolling along Broadway in downtown Columbia this afternoon around 4:20 PM when I spotted a memory-card case resting on a bench outside Missouri Theatre. The case had no name on it, and I didn’t peek inside to check contents, out of respect for privacy. I picked it up and kept it safe, hoping its owner will see this post and know the cards are here. I hope the rightful owner will see this post.
Found hand tools near downtown Jefferson City.
Late yesterday afternoon, around 3:20 p.m., I found a loose bundle of hand tools sitting on a bench outside a cafe on Jefferson Street in downtown Jefferson City. Inside was a yellow hammer, a dented tape measure, screwdrivers, and a dusty wrench—clearly someone was mid-project and forgot them. I gathered everything and left it with the cafe staff, hoping the owner would spot this listing soon. The neighborhood felt busy but friendly, with the river breeze and traffic hum mixing with chatter about sports and groceries. If these tools are yours, I hope you see this and claim them.
Lost sheet music in Columbia / Jeff City area
I lost a stack of sheet music from my college band rehearsal and I'm hoping someone picked it up nearby. After practice at about 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, I left a black folder near the Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia, just behind the loading dock on Hitt Street. Inside are concert pieces and a few pages of pencil annotations in my handwriting. My heart sank when I realized they were missing because those tunes mean a lot to me. If you spotted a stray folder near the Missouri Theatre steps or along Hitt Street by the campus, please drop a note through the site.
lost microwaves in Columbia / Jeff City, Missouri
Hi, I’m Ava Martinez. I lost a couple microwaves during a hectic move, and I’m hoping they find their way back to me. It happened last Friday around 6:30 p.m., near the Missouri State Capitol entrance on E Capitol Ave in Jefferson City. I had just grabbed some groceries and set a few boxes on a bench while juggling bags, and when I looked up they were gone. These microwaves aren’t just appliances; one is my late grandmother’s, and I’ve carried that memory with me since she passed. If you spotted a bulky, gray box sitting on a bench or curb in that area, I’d be grateful if you could share any detail you remember. I’m posting from the Columbia / Jeff City, Missouri, United States area.
Lost student ID near MU campus quad
I’ve been stressed since I can’t find my student ID, the one with my photo and campus access. I last saw it around 4:15 p.m. yesterday on the ground near the MU library steps, then I headed toward the Student Center and it disappeared. I retraced my route across the MU quad and past Jesse Hall, but it was gone. This ID is my key to class sign-ins and dorm doors, so I’m really hoping someone picked it up and turned it into the appropriate desk. If you found it around the library steps or near Jesse Hall, please let me know through this site.
Blue Nike running shoes, size 9.5, orange lace
I was out for a run yesterday around 5pm and must have left my blue Nike running shoes near MU Student Recreation Center on Hitt Street. They're navy blue with a neon lime sole, size 9.5. The left shoe has a small tear on the toe and an orange lace I threaded through the eyelets so I’d recognize it easily. Inside the tongue I wrote my initials AP in black Sharpie. They mean a lot to me because they were a gift from my sister, and I'm really hoping someone picked them up and can return them to me in Columbia, MO, around the MU campus.
Silver Yamaha flute with engraved initials on headjoint
I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm while practicing near the Columbia Public Library on Broadway. It's a silver Yamaha flute, standard student model, with closed-hole keys, and the lip plate has my initials 'AP' engraved. The case is light blue and has a small dent near the foot joint, easy to spot. This flute is sentimental—the last gift from my grandmother—and I’d be grateful to get it back.
Neon red CMF 2024 wristband pass
I lost my neon red wristband pass for CMF 2024 yesterday around 3pm outside the Missouri Theatre on Broadway in downtown Columbia. It's a fabric wristband, about 1 inch wide, with "CMF 2024" printed in white and a small holographic sticker that catches the light. There's a tiny tear along the inner edge and a faint coffee stain near the CMF text. It means a lot to me—it's my only way into tonight's events and I really need it back. If you found it, please drop it off at the Missouri Theatre box office or email me at [email protected] so we can arrange a pickup. Thank you!
Black RFID passport wallet with orange zipper found
Found a black RFID passport wallet this morning around 11am behind the Missouri Theatre on Broadway in Columbia, MO. It's a TravelSafe faux-leather wallet about passport size, with an orange zipper pull and a slim inner pocket. Inside are a couple receipts, a boarding pass stub, and silver initials 'JL' embroidered on the lining. The wallet is in good condition, just a bit of wear around the edges. Happy to help get it back to its owner—if these details sound familiar, drop a note here and we’ll arrange a meet near the theatre.
