I lost my notebook titled Wild and Domestic around 3:40 p.m. Saturday while leaving a cafe on Nevada Avenue near Acacia Park in Colorado Springs. It’s my personal art journal—pages filled with sketches and notes for a small project I’m hoping to start. I wandered back along Nevada Avenue, asked a couple of shop staff, and checked the park, but I couldn't find it. If someone picked it up, I hope they held onto it for me and turned it into the lost-and-found.
Found Work Cases in Colorado Springs
I found a set of work cases on a bench outside the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum this morning around 8:20 a.m., along Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. The cases are black leather with a few scuffs, and a tag inside reads ACME Consulting; a laptop bag strap is peeking out. I didn’t see any documents, but I figured someone would be looking for them soon, so I kept them safe near the museum entrance. Last Friday around 7:15 PM, I was at the downtown library on Colorado Ave, tucked in near the reading room, when I set my sheet music on a table and stepped out for a quick coffee run. When I returned, the binder with loose sheets and pencil markings for a Bach piece was gone. The binder is bright yellow with a few creases, and it holds pages for an upcoming recital that means a lot to me. I’ve checked the cafe, the stacks, and the lobby, and a few patrons said they didn’t see it, but I won’t give up hope. Losing it has me anxious about the program next month.

Lost photographs near Acacia Park, Colorado Springs
On Tejon Street near Acacia Park, around 3:20 PM today, I realized my bag was lighter and my heart sank. My photographs, mostly old prints from my mother, were gone from the inner pocket. They are in a tan folder with a red string; some are labeled with dates on the back. I keep thinking about the stories behind those images and the family laughs captured in them, and I feel a hollow ache missing them. If anyone picked them up, I hope they understand how much they mean.

Lost holiday decorations near Garden of the Gods
I lost my holiday decorations. On Friday, December 8, around 6:15 pm, I stepped out onto my apartment balcony on University Street, a short walk from the Garden of the Gods entrance, and must have left them outside. The missing items include a gold garland with red ribbons, a string of warm-white lights, and a small snowflake ornament that belonged to my grandmother. My heart sank when I realized they were gone, especially this close to the holidays. If they turn up near the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center or tucked behind a planter, I’d be grateful to be reunited with them.

It’s a slim 6 mm band, size 6, with a small oval amethyst set in a bezel and a brushed finish. On the inside there’s a tiny engraving of 'A.K.' and a barely noticeable scratch along the outer edge. Brass pocket compass in leather sleeve
Found a small brass pocket compass with a dark brown leather sleeve this afternoon around 4:15 pm in the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center parking lot on Gateway Road, Colorado Springs. It's about 2 inches across, with a bit of tarnish and a couple of tiny nicks along the rim. The leather sleeve is worn but still secure, and there's a back engraving of the initials 'P.K.' plus a tiny heart-shaped scratch on the front that's pretty distinctive. The compass still ticks when you move it, like it was recently used. If this belongs to someone, I’d be happy to arrange a safe pickup here in Colorado Springs.

I found a tiny gray hamster with a blue collar wandering under a parked cart near the Target on Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs this afternoon around 3:15. The little guy is grape-sized, with soft gray fur and a white belly, plus a blue collar with a tiny silver bell and a crescent-shaped white patch behind his left ear. He seemed a bit skittish at first, but settled in a spare hamster cage I keep for pet-sitting, nibbling a cucumber slice I offered. I lost my sister Leila Hassan yesterday around 7:30pm. Last seen near Monument Valley Park off Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, walking toward the Colorado College campus after leaving a cafe. She's about 5'6", with shoulder-length dark curly hair, and was wearing a teal puffer jacket, black leggings, and white sneakers. She has a crescent moon tattoo on her right inner wrist and wears a pink beaded bracelet with a small silver charm. She sometimes carries a gray tote bag with a student ID inside. I'm really worried—she's getting over a cold and needs her meds. If anyone saw her or knows anything, please message me ASAP.

I lost my sister, Maria Rivera, 22, yesterday around 6:15pm. She was last seen near the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center parking lot, walking toward Colorado Avenue. She's about 5'5" tall, olive skin, shoulder-length black hair, and brown eyes. She has a crescent tattoo on the inside of her left wrist and wears a silver compass pendant necklace. At the time she was wearing a red hoodie, gray denim jacket tied around her waist, black leggings, and white sneakers, carrying a green floral backpack. I'm really worried—she's usually careful and reachable by phone, but might ignore calls if distressed.
