While strolling along West 2nd Street in Portales around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, I spotted a bunch of adapters lying on the sidewalk near Portales City Park. They looked like a mix of USB-C and micro-USB pieces, tangled with a couple of generic black cases. Not sure who they belong to, I picked them up and posted here so the owner might see this and grab them back. It felt right to help out, even with something as small as a bunch of adapters.
I lost my saxophones after a rehearsal at Eastern New Mexico University’s Portales campus around 7:30 p.m. last Tuesday. I had them in a soft black case and carried them from Roosevelt Hall toward the Portales Public Library steps on Main Street, near ENMU’s campus lawn. I must have left them on a bench by the campus plaza, because when I looked back they were gone. The two alto saxophones have sentimental value and are part of my daily practice; I’m hoping a kind soul held onto them. If you happened to see the black-case saxophones near the library steps or around ENMU, please keep them safe until I can reclaim them.
Today felt ordinary until I realized my Travel Visas were missing from a folder in my bag. I was at the ENMU library area around 11:20 AM yesterday, walking along 2nd Street toward the campus courtyard. The visas were in a red folder inside a black travel sleeve, tucked between some receipts and a map. I doubled back toward the library stairs and the student center courtyard, but they were nowhere to be found. Losing them could delay a trip I’ve been planning for months, and I feel anxious without them. If someone turned up a red folder with those visas, please keep it safe near ENMU library entrance until I can retrieve it.
Lost: I misplaced my driver's license on Sunday, March 2, 2025, around 4:15 p.m., along Main Street near the ENMU-Portales campus in Portales, NM. I had stopped by the campus bookstore and then walked toward the library when I realized it was gone. It’s a lifeline for travel and ID, and I’m trying not to panic while I sort things out. If this is your license and you found it, please claim it through the site so I can get on with replacing it.
After a shift at ENMU-Portales, I walked down Main Street around 8:15 PM and found a bundle of holiday decorations leaning against the Portales City Library door. There were lights, tinsel, and a few ornaments tucked into a dusty tote, as if someone had rushed off in a hurry. They look ready for a porch display, not a store setup, and I imagine the owner’s scramble to get everything hung before friends arrive. If these belong to you, please respond to this listing so we can arrange a pickup through the site.
I’m posting because I realized I left a small batch of stamps somewhere in Portales, New Mexico yesterday afternoon. I was sorting mail at the Portales Public Library parking lot around 5:45 PM, and I must have dropped them near a bench by the southwest corner of Main Street. The stamps belonged to a longtime collection from my grandmother, and they’re meaningful to me beyond their value. I’m hopeful they’ll be handed in so I can finish my project tonight.
