Lost CDs near Hopewell Culture Park, Chillicothe
I lost my CDs this afternoon during a quick break at the Chillicothe Arts Festival. Around 3:15 p.m. I was at the edge of Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, near the festival entrance where banners line the sidewalk, when I turned to fetch my map and they slipped from my bag. They’re in a blue, slightly worn jewel case, the kind with a guitar sticker on the front. I retraced every path along the Scioto River, asking a couple of volunteers and a jogger, but the CDs must have vanished into the crowd. I miss them—they held memories from road trips and late-night study sessions, and I keep hoping someone picked them up for safekeeping.

I lost my red paperback mystery novel, 'Midnight on Main', yesterday around 4pm along Main Street in downtown Chillicothe near the Coffee Crate cafe. It's a standard trade paperback, about 320 pages, with a black bookmark tucked inside that has a tiny hand-drawn tiger on it. The cover's a bit creased, and the scent of coffee clings to the pages. This book means a lot to me—it was a gift from my late grandmother, and I really need it back.

Inside the dust jacket there’s a pressed forget-me-not and a faded bookmark with 'Grandview Middle School' written in blue ink.
