Lost leashes in Chico, near Bidwell Park
Hi, I’m Mia, and I’m still hoping to find my two leashes. I was at Bidwell Park around 6:15 pm this past Saturday, near the Chico Creek Trailhead by the pine grove, when we paused to take a photo and I must have dropped them. One leash is gray nylon with a red handle; the other is plain black. They’re well-used and mean a lot to our daily walks. I’ve walked the area twice, calling out and scanning the ground, but the light was fading and I’m worried they’ll be carried away by the creek. If someone found them, I’d be forever grateful for the help.
LOST: My two felines in Chico
Last night around 5:45 pm, I realized my two cats weren’t in the house in Chico. Mochi, a gray tabby with white paws, and Pepper, a calico with a distinctive notch on her ear, slipped out when I opened the door to bring in the groceries. I’d taken them for a stroll near Bidwell Park a few hours earlier, and I worry they wandered toward Chico Creek behind the university area. I lost my cockatiel yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in downtown Chico. He's a small gray bird with a bright yellow crest, orange cheek patches, and a blue leg band marked A12. You'll notice a tiny white feather on his left wing, and he tends to chatter when he’s excited. This bird has sentimental value to my family—it was a gift from my grandmother, and we’re really hoping to have him back.
