Lost sheet music near Chico State Library steps
Sunday around 2:45 p.m., I was walking from the Chico State Performing Arts Building toward the Library steps and must have dropped a folder of sheet music along the way. It’s a tan binder with a red label, pages from Mozart to contemporary pieces, and a pencil tucked inside the spine. I’ve checked Bidwell Park and the campus walkways, but nothing turned up yet. This music matters to me because it holds years of lessons and late-night practice, and I’m hopeful it turns up where someone noticed it.

Hey, I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm near the Chico Public Library on 5th Street. It's a student model with a pearl headjoint, and there's a small dent on the footjoint. The black case has my initials 'PP' engraved on the latch, and the instrument has sentimental value—it was a gift from my grandmother. I lost my sunburst acoustic guitar yesterday around 3pm outside the Starbucks on Main Street in downtown Chico. It's a dreadnought with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a worn sunburst finish. There’s a small nick on the headstock near the tuner and a faded sticker under the pickguard that reads 'Live for music'. It was a gift from my dad when I started college, so it means a lot to me and I’m really hoping it turns up. I lost my red-sunburst 4/4 violin yesterday around 3pm. It’s in a black hard-shell case with a small white sticker on the lid that says 'P. Patel.' The bow has a tiny nick near the frog and the tip hair is a bit loose, but it still plays okay. I was walking from the University Store on Main Street toward the Chico State entrance, near the corner of Main and Broadway, when I realized it wasn’t with me. This instrument means a lot to me—it's been in my family and I use it for recitals; I really need it back.
