Lost scarf near Chico State Library steps

At 7:15 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, I realized my scarf was missing after a walk around Chico State's Library steps. It's a charcoal knit with a slim cobalt stripe along the edge and a tiny fray that’s become my security blanket on chilly nights. I wore it daily when biking from Fifth Street to the library, and it carries a faint peppermint scent from a café on Main Street. It means a lot to me because it was a gift from my grandmother, a small warmth I cling to during finals week.
