I realized my ties were missing at 3:30 p.m. last Sunday, after I ducked into a coffee shop on Tryon Street and headed toward the Bank of America Stadium area in uptown Charlotte. They’re a simple navy with a subtle diagonal stripe, not fancy, but they’re my go-to for interviews and important events. I’m a bit rattled, walking past Trade Street and near Romare Bearden Park as crowds swell, hoping someone turned them in at a cafe or a passing store. I’d be relieved to have them back; if you found them, I hope you can bring them to the site so I can pick them up.
