Found coins near Krannert Center on UIUC campus
I was leaving the Krannert Center after a late rehearsal around 6:20 p.m. last Tuesday and spotted a small tin of coins sitting on a bench. I picked it up and realized the coins weren't mine - they looked like a jumble from a traveler: quarters, a few foreign coins, and a battered token. My heart sank a little thinking someone might be missing them; I kept the tin safe and posted this in case the owner checks in. Found a neon orange cycling helmet with black vents this afternoon around 3:40 pm, tucked behind the bike racks by the Illini Union on Green Street in Champaign-Urbana. It’s a size M, with a couple of scuffs on the rim and a white sticker inside with the handwritten letter 'K'. The padding inside feels clean and the chin strap is still intact. I figured someone might be missing it after a ride around campus, so I’m posting here in case the owner recognizes these details and wants it back.
