Lost train near UIUC campus at dusk
Hi, I’m Grace Williams. I lost my little wooden train on Friday around 8:15 PM near the Illini Union steps on the UIUC campus. It’s a six-inch train with black body and gold trim, a keepsake from my grandfather. I retraced from the Main Library to the south quad, but the narrow sidewalks and crowds swallowed it up. It would mean the world to have it back; I’m hoping a kind passerby picked it up and left it somewhere safe on campus.
Lost travel visas in Champaign-Urbana
Hi, I’m Emma Carter. I had my travel visas tucked in a slim black binder with a red elastic band, the kind I grab last minute before a flight. I realized they were missing at around 6:20 p.m. last Friday, after I stepped out of the Illini Union Bookstore and was heading toward the Courtyard Cafe on the UIUC campus. LOST: Driver's License near UIUC campus
I was at the Illini Union coffee shop around 6:15 PM last Saturday, juggling a coffee and a stack of papers, when I must've set it down and walked away. My driver's license is a blue card with my name and photo on it, and I remember the corner catching the light as I turned a page. I retraced my steps through the Union lobby, past the student lounge, and out toward Main Street, but it vanished somewhere near the campus bus stop.
