Lost aviants near CMU campus, Mount Pleasant

On Tuesday around 4:20 PM, I was walking along the Chippewa River Trail near Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, when my aviants slipped from their carrier and took off. The two small birds fluttered toward the campus edge and disappeared into the trees near Bovee Hall. I clutched my backpack, shouted their names, and hustled across the path and into the student lot, but they're gone. I’m sick with worry; those birds are pets, not just property.
