Lost holiday decorations in Central Michigan
I was decorating the Christmas tree in my Mount Pleasant apartment on Franklin Street at 8:15 PM on Friday when I stepped into the kitchen for a moment and came back outside. My tote with holiday decorations had vanished from the porch, and that sinking feeling hit me hard. The tote was red, about 18 inches tall, with a white snowflake sticker on the lid, and inside were strings of lights, garlands, and a few fragile ornaments that belonged to my grandmother. Losing them hurts more than words can say, and I hope whoever found them saw this and kept an eye out around CMU Library and Main Street in Mount Pleasant.
Navy tote bag with sketchbook and stickers
I’m hoping someone picked up my navy tote bag yesterday around 4pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in Mount Pleasant, Central Michigan. It’s a navy-blue Field & Co canvas tote, about 14x16 inches, with a small red heart sticker on the corner and one strap that’s a bit frayed. Inside I stash a spiral-bound sketchbook with a blue cover, plus a few pencil sketches and a coffee stain along the bottom edge. It means a lot to me—those sketches are from art class and a campus volunteer project I’ve been working on. If you found it, please drop it off somewhere safe or message me—really looking to get it back!
Black compact umbrella with CMU sticker
I found a black compact umbrella this afternoon around 3:45pm in the Meijer parking lot on Mission Street in Mount Pleasant, Central Michigan. It's a RainSafe umbrella, about 10 inches long when folded, with a matte canopy and a gray rubberized handle. There’s a small white sticker on the case with the Central Michigan University logo, plus a tiny scratch along the edge of the canopy from a brush with a cart. If this belongs to you, I’m happy to return it—hope the owner sees this and knows it’s still out there.
Olive-green notebook with fox zipper charm
I lost my olive-green notebook with a fox-shaped brass zipper charm yesterday around 3pm near the CMU Bookstore on University Avenue, Mount Pleasant. It's a small, soft-cover notebook with the fox charm dangling from the zipper pull and a tiny coffee stain on the bottom edge. Inside there's a photo of my dad tucked in the back pocket and a few travel notes from weekend trips. It has sentimental value for me; my sister gave it to me when I started at CMU, and I really need it back. If you found it, please ping me here; I’d be forever grateful.
Pink compact digital camera with case
Yesterday around 3pm I realized my pink Canon PowerShot ELPH was missing in Mount Pleasant, Central Michigan, near the CMU Bookstore on University Avenue by the student union. It's a small camera, snug in a pink neoprene case with a silver ring around the lens and a rainbow sticker on the edge of the case. The screen is clean, but the bottom corner has a tiny dent and there's a fingerprint smudge across the back. It was a gift from my sister last Christmas, so it means a lot to me to get it back. If you found it, reach out with any details so we can verify and arrange a pickup.
Found insulin pen and glucose meter case
I found a small medical kit this afternoon around 2:15pm in the CMU Library parking lot behind Warriner Library, near the East Campus Drive entrance in Mount Pleasant. Inside a translucent blue zip pouch is a blue insulin pen with a bright red cap and a grey glucose meter, plus a small blister pack of test strips. The pouch has a white sticker that reads 'CareTeam' in blue, and the pen's label has handwritten initials. This item clearly belongs to someone managing diabetes, and I'd really like to get it back to the owner. If this sounds like yours, we can arrange a safe handoff at the CMU Campus Safety building.
